When you enrolled in high school, people say:

it is too hard,

too tiring,

too low in salary with little economic rewards, and

few fringe benefits..

When you enrolled in the graduate school, people say:

you are dim-witted and need that to keep your job;

you are just wasting time and money,

it will not bring you much

you cannot cope up with the challenges of your job like your colleagues..

When you bought your first car, people say:

it is not new;

it is not a BMW and not even a Fortuner,

it will break down easily,

I will not ride in such a car..

When you build your own house, people say:

it is very modest,

it is not nice,

it is so diminutive for a human being to live into,

it cannot be compared to the houses in the neighborhood..

When you get into relationship, people say:

It won’t last,

It is just a fling,

He can’t sustain a relationship,

The girl will eventually wake up and leave you..

It is sad that when you do something positive for yourself:

some people will wish to see you fail;

they want to see you suffer instead of being happy;
